Microsoft has released an optional non-security update to Windows 10 KB4601380 for versions 1909 and above, foreign media reported. Unlike last month's optional Update, this month's preview comes with some critical bug fixes, including font and screen rendering improvements.

Windows 10 KB4601380 is a comprehensive cumulative update with a long list of bug fixes. However, Microsoft is aware of some known issues with this release.

If the Update via Windows Update fails and you get stuck in the install cycle, download the offline installer and double-click the.MSU package to manually apply the Update.

Microsoft is also rolling out reliability improvements for Windows Update, which it has already pushed out to machines running Windows 10 version 20H2 or earlier. The reliability update is designed to get the device ready for the 21H1 version of Windows 10, which Microsoft officially announced yesterday.

It's worth mentioning that Windows 10 Build 18363.1411 will fix a random blue screen of death (BSOD) error that occurs on startup. There are also fixes for high memory and CPU utilization.
