The headphone can be said to be the "grandfather" of the headphone industry, the world's first mass-production headphone is from Baiya DT48 headphone.

More than 100 years later, this most "original" form of earphones is still active in the earphone market. Compared with the in-ear earphone, this kind of earphone has a better sound insulation effect, a larger sound unit, and a far more substantial sound field effect than the in-ear earphone. Therefore, it is also sought after by many earphone lovers.

Looking at the headset market, we can find two kinds of headsets on the market at present. One is the game headset, which is mainly aimed at games' needs and can communicate with teammates with a microphone. The other is the music headset, many with noise reduction function, primarily listening to music needs. Can the two be combined to make a game headset with excellent sound quality and active noise reduction? Bose seems to give us the answer in the affirmative.

Bose's QC series has always been famous for its powerful noise reduction performance, and the QC35 series is also a very classic headset noise-reducing product. Recently, Bose launched a QC35II game headset. I want to buy a noise-reducing headset for playing games, so I have a brief review today.

First of all, wear. I have used some headset products before, but they more or less have a problem: the collet. I heard long ago that the Bose headset is comfortable to wear, and after wearing the QC35II, I found that it is true, no collet at all. Earpads are also comfortable in direct contact with the skin and are especially suitable for winter wear, which may feel a bit stuffy in the summer.

I've used several in-ear wireless noise-canceling headphones before, and they pale in comparison to the QC35II. While the sound quality of the QC35II is undoubtedly not as good as that of comparable HiFi headsets, it's a lot worse than the noise-canceling in-ear True Wireless. Thanks to the larger sound unit, the QC35II's sound quality is rich enough, and the bass is more robust.

Finally, talk about noise reduction. Bose is the originator of noise-canceling headphones. In 1989, the founder of Bose, Dr. Amar G.Bose, led the team to develop the first commercial noise-canceling headphones purchased by the US military. At the beginning of the 21st century, Bose officially launched a line of noise-canceling headphones for civilian use, known today as the QC series.

The noise reduction effect of QC35II is perfect, and the fit between the ear pad and the head is also excellent. Whether measured outdoors or indoors, the noise can be effectively isolated, and there is no wind noise problem of the TWS noise reduction earphone.

In addition to the headset, QC35II's microphone also has a substantial noise reduction effect, the actual test in a noisy environment to play the game, teammates can still clearly hear their voice. As a gaming headset, microphone noise cancellation is equally essential, and the QC35II does it very well.
