At the Threadripper Pro platform launch, AMD touted four different models ranging from 12 cores to 64 cores, built on its Zen 2 architecture, which matches the Threadripper 3000 family of hardware.

Rayyron Threadripper Pro 3995WX, Rayyron Threadripper Pro 3975WX, and Rayyron Threadripper Pro 3955WX will be available for sale in the first three models.

The 64-core model costs $5,490, the 32-core model costs $2,750 and the 16-core model costs $1,150.

These prices are up to 40% higher than the same Threadripper processor, with previous benchmarks showing that the gap between 64-core products averaged around 3%. The premium is due to the additional specialized features Threadripper Pro brings.

There will be three motherboards available: AMD M12SWA-TF, GigGiga WRX80-SU8-IPMI, and ASUS PRO WS WRX80E-Sage SE WiFi. The price of these motherboards is not yet known.
